Carlos Dunn is a multifaceted entrepreneur and creative force, serving as the Founder and CEO of Vampires2 films LLC. With the company's virtual and on-location studios situated in Colima, Mexico, and Atlanta, Georgia, USA, Dunn has been instrumental in producing and distributing a range of "High Concept" movies. His inaugural film, the award-winning cult classic horror-romance "Carlos Dunn's Katherine," garnered widespread acclaim, with critics likening it to the works of John Carpenter.
This critically acclaimed film is currently available on demand through various VOD outlets, including Vimeo, VHX, and PivotShare, with a planned remake slated for 2019. Dunn's extensive writing career spans over five decades, during which he has penned numerous pulp fiction-style stories, publishing and selling more than 70 short stories and seven novels.
Prior to his foray into the world of filmmaking, Dunn honed his musical skills as a back-stage musician and backup singer at Nashville's iconic Grand Old Opera from 1970 to 1974. He played the 5-string banjo and string bass, and sang harmony alongside legendary performers such as the late Bill Monroe, The Osborn Brothers, Lester Flatt, and the inimitable Archie Campbell.
