Carlo D'Amore is a multi-talented individual who has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. As an actor, he has had the opportunity to showcase his skills on the Broadway stage, including a performance in "Summer and Smoke" at the Roundabout, as well as in the Helen Hayes Theater production of "Latinologues".
He has also had a successful career in film, appearing in a variety of projects such as "When In Rome", "Yo Pecador", "FlyTrap", "The Tool", "State Property 2", "Strapped", and "Beautiful Something". In addition to his work in film and theater, Carlo has also made appearances on television, including roles on HBO's "OZ" and ABC's "Pan Am".
As a writer, Carlo has penned solo plays such as "No Parole" and "Feet First". His work has been recognized with several awards and nominations, including a Drama Desk nomination for his unique theatrical experience "The Ryan Case 1873", a top ten play and audience award winner at the Edinburgh Fringe for "No Parole", and a Sabre Award winner for innovative marketing for "Malts of Legend".
In addition to his work as an actor and writer, Carlo is also the founder of NYC's Live In Theater Productions (LIT),which has produced a number of successful interactive hits, including "The Ryan Case 1873", "Lombardi Case 1975", "The Pinkertonian Mystery", "The Trial of Typhoid Mary", "Fierce & Deadly 1988", "Malts of Legend", and "The Moscow Mule Experience". Carlo has also directed a number of productions, including "Voices From Guantanamo" and "De Novo", which he took on tour in Central America.
His work has been recognized with several awards and nominations, including a top six attractions in NYC by CBS Local for "Lombardi Case 1975", and a Cannes Film Fest winner for "Flytrap".
