Alec, a native of Columbus, Ohio, began his journey by enlisting in the military directly after high school, serving for a period of five years before returning to his hometown to pursue higher education. He went on to graduate from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's degree in Film Studies and Production.
Alec's initial foray into the film industry was marked by the release of his debut feature film, Jack's Habit, in 2005. This ambitious project, which Alec wrote, produced, directed, and starred in, was distributed by Brentwood Home Video. Following the success of Jack's Habit, Alec went on to create several award-winning short films that showcased his versatility as a filmmaker.
In addition to his work behind the camera, Alec has also appeared in a number of feature films, including the 2006 horror movie Horrors Of War, in which he played the role of the menacing Captain Mitchell.
Since relocating to Los Angeles, Alec has had the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse range of industry professionals, including the renowned director Penny Marshall, actress Colleen Camp, and production companies such as Argonaut Pictures, Rainstorm Entertainment, and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Alec's impressive portfolio is comprised of several projects that are currently in various stages of development with studios, reputable companies, and legendary producers. His most recent film, The Best Man, is now available to stream on Hulu.
