Byron's life story is a testament to his unwavering passion for cinema, music, and performance. Growing up in Owensboro, Kentucky, he spent his childhood creating short horror films with neighborhood friends, laying the foundation for his future endeavors.
Throughout high school and college in Orlando, Florida, Byron attended various film and television courses, honing his skills in every aspect of production. This hands-on experience served as a springboard for his professional career, as he quickly became involved in multiple local productions, taking on roles from production assistant to first assistant director.
In 2006, Byron leveraged his expertise to write, produce, direct, and edit the feature film Night, which was promptly acquired for worldwide home distribution. This accomplishment marked the beginning of a prolific career, as he went on to direct music videos for notable bands such as The Break Up, Legion Within, Cylab, and Endless Sunder.
Byron's creative talents extended beyond filmmaking, as he was a member of the industrial band GOD MODULE for eight years. As a performer, he brought his unique energy to live shows across the globe, crafting all video material for the band.
In 2015, Byron reached new heights as a filmmaker and performer. As the lead singer and lyricist of the Shock Rock band Ghosts in the Graveyard, he infused his performances with unbridled enthusiasm. The band's debut single and music video "Better in Black" premiered in September, followed by a captivating live show on Halloween. December saw the worldwide release of his second feature film, The Anatomy of Monsters, a thought-provoking exploration of the human psyche.
Currently, Byron is attached to direct two original horror films in active development with Johnny Sullivan/Blackout Films in Hollywood, California. His film and video work can be found on his YouTube playlist.
