Burgandi Trejo Phoenix is a multifaceted storyteller with deep roots in the Yaqui (Yoeme) culture. As a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA),Actors' Equity Association, and the Television Academy, she is a dedicated advocate for authentic representation of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) women in the entertainment industry, both on and off-screen.
With extensive training in theatrical, comedy, and improvisational performance, Burgandi is a working actor, voice actor, singer, dancer, and writer. Her impressive resume includes voicing characters in several animated shows, including Nickelodeon's "The Loud House", which have garnered numerous Emmy Award nominations.
Burgandi's voice acting credits also include several shows that have been recognized with prestigious awards, such as Spirit Rangers on Netflix, which received seven Emmy nominations, and The Royals of Malibu-Diversion Audio, which was named Spotify's "Best of". Additionally, Cookie Run Kingdom-DevSisters was named "Best of" on the Google Play store.
As a multi-talented individual, Burgandi is the national spokesperson for talentboom, a former host of Casting Frontier's YouTube show, "The Curve", and co-founder of The Actor Toolkit Club on Clubhouse. She is also a skilled dancer, having performed as a company member with the Tucson School of Ballet and Ballet Rincon for several years. Burgandi has trained in various dance styles, including belly dancing, salsa, ballroom, modern, tap, and lyrical.
Burgandi currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband, actor Carlos Ramzey Ramirez, and their beloved pet, Lola.
