This All-Around Western Enthusiast and Cowboy at heart was born Walter Clarence Taylor III on May 13, 1938, in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.
Notably, Taylor's extensive career includes his iconic work on the beloved television western Gunsmoke, which premiered in 1955. As an artist, he continues to attend annual events like the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo to showcase his watercolor paintings, promoting the preservation of Western Heritage.
