Born in the state of Connecticut, Brendan Steere's early years were marked by a series of relocations, as he spent his formative years in Montana before eventually settling in Pennsylvania. This nomadic upbringing would later influence his creative endeavors. At some point, Steere made the bold decision to leave his native country behind, opting instead to emigrate to the vibrant metropolis of New York City. His travels didn't end there, as he would later reside in the romantic city of Paris, the culturally rich Berlin, and currently calls Los Angeles his home.
Steere's foray into the film industry began with the release of his feature debut, the horror/thriller Animosity, in 2014. This initial foray into feature-length filmmaking was followed by the horror/comedy The VelociPastor, which was inspired by the viral 2011 short film of the same name. In addition to his work as a director, Steere has also made a name for himself as a screenwriter and editor, having contributed to numerous projects of varying lengths.
Beyond his work in the film industry, Steere is a multilingual individual who has mastered the art of communication in not one, not two, but three different languages. When he's not busy bringing his creative vision to life on the big screen, Steere can be found rocking out with his sick rock band.
