Brandon Hardesty was born in Baltimore, Maryland on April 13th, 1987, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey that would take him from his hometown to the world of entertainment. His early years were spent at Baltimore Lutheran School, where he was encouraged by his English teacher to participate in the school play, which he did in his 6th grade year. This initial foray into the world of performing arts led to him being cast in not one, but two plays: Arthur Miller's The Crucible and George Washington Slept Here.
Following his high school graduation, Hardesty pursued higher education at Stevenson University and Towson University, where he majored in film. It was during this time that he developed a passion for filmmaking, which would ultimately become a crucial aspect of his career. In 2006, when YouTube was still in its infancy, Hardesty began creating videos in his parents' basement, reenacting his favorite movie scenes. These initial forays into online content quickly gained popularity, and by 2007, one of his videos had caught the attention of a Geico commercial producer, resulting in a feature in one of their advertisements.
The exposure Hardesty gained from his YouTube videos soon led to him being contacted by a film producer who had seen his work. This opportunity resulted in an audition for the independent film Bart Got A Room, starring the acclaimed actors William H. Macy and Cheryl Hines. Hardesty's performance in the film earned him representation, marking a significant milestone in his career.
In early 2008, Hardesty made five consecutive appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, reenacting scenes from the five Best Picture nominees that year. Following this stint, he returned to the east coast and worked in a grocery store until he landed a lead role in American Pie Presents: The Book Of Love, as well as a supporting role in Bucky Larson: Born To Be A Star. Since then, Hardesty has maintained a bicoastal lifestyle, splitting his time between Los Angeles, California, and Baltimore, Maryland.
Throughout his career, Hardesty has continued to create content for YouTube, albeit with a focus on auditioning for roles in feature films and television shows. Despite his success, he remains committed to his craft, always seeking new opportunities to showcase his talents and entertain audiences.
