Ben Fiore is a multi-award-winning, optioned and produced screenwriter based in New York. He has gained significant recognition for his work, with several of his short and feature-length screenplays receiving top honors and high placement awards in prestigious mainstream screenwriting contests and film festivals.
As a co-writer, Ben worked on the action/thriller film "PURSUIT", which stars John Cusack and Emile Hirsch. He also wrote the screenplay for the intense boxing drama short film "PUNCHER'S CHANCE", which explores the corrupt side of the sport and features Gregory Alan Williams.
Ben is also the co-creator and writer of the new comedy TV series project "The Mamaluke", which stars Johnny 'Roastbeef' Williams, known for his roles in "Goodfellas" and the Oscar-winning film "Green Book".
Before his screenwriting career, Ben served as a New York City Police Officer, patrolling the city's subways with the NYC Transit Police and later with the NYPD. He was also a 9/11 "First Responder" and participated in the rescue and recovery mission at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
Ben's wife, Marci, is a children's book author and social media promoter. His older son, Stephen, is a Senior Digital Designer at Marvel Studios, and his younger son, Christopher, is a trained actor at the Lee Strasberg Institute, with experience in both theater and film.
