Asli Bayram, a talented actress, underwent rigorous actor's training with esteemed coaches and studios, including Eric Morris in Los Angeles, James Hallett in New York, and Anne Mertin in Vienna.
Her international film debut came with Jump! (2007),where she shared the screen with the legendary Patrick Swayze. She later landed a prominent role in the dark comedy Short Cut to Hollywood (2009),which was shot in the United States and premiered at the Berlinale Film Festival in 2009.
In 2007, Asli made her stage debut in the solo theater performance Anne Frank: The Diary at the Théatre de la Ville D'Esch in Luxembourg, receiving critical acclaim. She was subsequently invited to perform at the Theatre Festival of German language in Prague and later made her German premiere in Frankfurt am Main. Anne Frank's cousin, Buddy Elias, praised Asli's performance.
In 2008, Asli toured with the English language version of Anne Frank: The Diary in Canada and the United States. She concluded the project on the occasion of Anne Frank's 80th birthday with three performances at the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles, Hollywood. The Times hailed her performance as "emerging as one of Germany's most convincing and subtle actresses."
In 2009, Asli authored the book Grenzgängerin - Leben zwischen den Welten (Border Crosser. Life between Worlds),published by Random House.
