Ashlee Hewitt is a talented American singer/songwriter currently residing in the vibrant city of Nashville, Tennessee, where she is one half of the renowned country pop duo, "Post Monroe".
Born and raised in Lancaster, Minnesota, Ashlee's passion for music began to unfold at the tender age of 13, when she started writing and performing with her band across the Midwest region.
As her musical talents continued to flourish, Ashlee began making regular trips to Nashville, Tennessee, to record and hone her craft, and by the time she turned 14, she had fallen deeply in love with the city's energy and charm.
Upon graduating from high school, Ashlee made the bold decision to pack her bags and relocate to Nashville, where she would go on to pursue her dreams of becoming a successful musician.
In 2008, Ashlee took a bold step by auditioning for the popular NBC Network show, Nashville Star, and although she didn't take home the top prize, she still managed to impress the judges and take 5th place on the 7th season of the competition.
