Biography of Arne:

Arne, a Canadian actor, was born in Edmonton, Alberta, and later relocated to Winnipeg, Manitoba, in the early 1990s. With a career spanning 28 years, he has made a living in the entertainment industry by acting in various film, television, and stage productions.

Renowned for his intense and physically demanding performances, Arne has appeared in over thirty film and television projects shot in Winnipeg. His extensive repertoire includes a diverse range of roles, showcasing his versatility as an actor.

Some of his most notable roles include battling a squid in the 2007 film "Eye of the Beast", getting crushed in a collapsing mine in the 2021 film "Ice Road", and getting blinded by an explosion in the 2017 film "The Hitman Never Dies". Additionally, he has played characters who have been shot for torching a building in the 2020 film "Tales From the Hood 3" and, famously, shot Winnie the Pooh in the 2004 film "A Bear Named Winnie".

Arne has spoken fondly of his experiences working with his son, Solmund, a talented filmmaker based in Toronto.
