Ariel Llinas, a multifaceted individual, was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, but his life took a dramatic turn at the age of three when he was raised in New York, a city that would shape his future.
With over 20 years of experience in the acting industry, Llinas has had the opportunity to play a wide range of roles, including Mike Connolly in "Horizon", General Arturo Vasquez in "NCIS: Los Angeles," Al Jollett in "Fatal Attraction", and Detective Ordaz in "Bosch".
Before pursuing a career in entertainment, Llinas earned a marketing degree, which he thought would be his lifelong profession. However, a surfing vacation in California changed his path forever. It was during this trip that he was approached by casting director Don Philip Smith in a gym, offering him a role on "The Young and the Restless". This marked the beginning of his journey in the entertainment industry.
Llinas then began studying his craft with renowned coaches Howard Fine and Brian Reise, as well as The Actor's Circle. His bilingual ability and Colombian roots also opened doors for national commercial opportunities. He went on to appear in numerous television shows and films, including "Shameless", "LA's Finest", "Strange Angel", "Animal Kingdom", "Dexter", "State of Affairs", and "Hacienda Heights".
In addition to his acting career, Llinas has successfully integrated his marketing background into his professional life. He created the bilingual spokesperson Don Remate and launched a highly-successful automotive marketing and promotion company. This company continues to operate today, with Llinas at the helm.
Despite his busy schedule, Llinas still finds time to balance his acting career with his family life. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife, children, and two dogs, enjoying the beauty of the city and the opportunities it brings.
