Annika, a talented individual, was born and raised in the former East Germany, where she spent her formative years developing her passion for the arts. After completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater Directing, Annika's academic pursuits took her to the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she received a prestigious Fulbright scholarship and went on to earn a Master's degree in Film Directing.
Annika's impressive body of work includes a successful short film, "Crossing Fences," which garnered international recognition and worldwide distribution after a rigorous festival circuit. Moreover, her feature script earned her a notable distinction, being named one of the top 25 writers to watch in 2019 by the International Screenwriters Association, a testament to her exceptional storytelling abilities.
In addition to her work as a writer and director, Annika has also ventured into the realm of acting, featuring in a diverse array of projects, including the critically acclaimed TV series "Mob City," the espionage thriller "Counterpart," the visually stunning "Watchmen," the action-packed "Jungle Cruise," and the biographical drama "The Glorias," among many others.
