Karen Ann Bell, better known by her stage name Annie Ample, was a stunning brunette model, actress, and stripper born on October 30, 1950, in San Diego, California. Prior to pursuing her career, Ample took two years of drama courses at San Diego State University and five years of modern jazz lessons.
Throughout her career, Annie posed for numerous men's magazines, including "Pub," "Live!," "High Society," "Mayfair," "Velvet," "Eros," "Gent," and "Cheri." Not only did she model for these publications, but she also wrote articles and conducted interviews for the adult magazine "High Society" in the early to mid-1980s.
As a stripper, Ample earned an impressive $5,000 per week at the height of her career, performing at top clubs on the East Coast. In addition to her stripping career, Annie also starred in her own burlesque revue, did stand-up comedy routines in amateur shows, and portrayed Lungs in the comedic film Delta Pi (1984).
Despite her success, Annie attempted to pursue a career in rock singing in the early 1980s, although this endeavor ultimately proved unsuccessful. In 1988, she published a biography about her life, titled "Bare Facts: My Life As a Stripper."
Tragically, Annie passed away on January 1, 2008, at the age of 57, due to complications from multiple sclerosis in Las Vegas, Nevada.
