Anna's life journey began in Toronto, Ontario, where she was born, and continued in Nashville, Tennessee, where she grew up. Her acting career commenced at the tender age of five, with her first stage production debut by seven. This early start paved the way for her television and film career, which began with appearances in the re-enactment series "It's A Miracle" in 1998 and the short film "School Colors" in 2000.
Throughout her childhood, Anna was involved in local theatre, television, and indie shorts, as well as a stint as a model. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance from the University of Evansville, while focusing on regional theatre. Her participation in the 2010 New Harmony Project led her to Los Angeles, where she continued to hone her craft, appearing in numerous award-winning indie shorts and regional theatre productions.
Some of her notable theatre credits include performances with companies such as Circle X Theatre Co, Write Act Rep, and Sacred Fools Theatre Co. Her portrayal of Lucy Van Pelt in the world premiere of "Absolutely Filthy" earned her the LA Weekly 2014 Best Female Comedy Performance Award, and the production went on to win both the Hollywood and NYC Fringe Festivals.
Anna has maintained her dual citizenship throughout her career, and in 2013, she returned to Toronto to focus on film and television. She has worked on shows such as "Mrs. America" (2021),"Law & Order: Criminal Intent Toronto" (2025),and most recently, "Underbelly" (2025). Her starring role as Daphne Daniels in Bygone Theatre Company's re-imagining of Hitchcock's "The Birds" earned her the 2023 Broadwayworld Toronto Award for Best Performer.
Today, Anna splits her time between Canada and the US, drawing inspiration from the many places she calls home.
