As a child, Alissa's fascination with the performing arts began to take shape, leading her to embark on a journey that would see her work in a variety of mediums, including commercials, voiceovers, and regional theatre productions.
It was during her studies with Fred Karemen that Alissa truly found her voice as an actor, and her talent did not go unnoticed, as she began to receive offers to test for television shows in Los Angeles.
Feeling the pull of the west coast, Alissa made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles, where she has had the privilege of working with some of her favorite directors and actors, and has found a sense of balance between her passion for acting and her other creative outlet, screenwriting.
As a writer, Alissa has achieved great success, being named a semi-finalist for the prestigious Academy Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting for her debut screenplay, the indie comedy "Cricket", which impressively placed in the top 1% of all entries.
Furthermore, Alissa's play "Survivors" is set to make its Los Angeles premiere in January 2014, marking a significant milestone in her illustrious career.
