Noteworthy to mention is the auspicious commencement of Alexander's acting career at the tender age of 14, when he had the opportunity to tread the boards on the esteemed set of HBO's John Adams. Coincidentally, it was during this same period that his fascination with the art of makeup and special effects began to germinate, much like a seedling sprouting forth from the earth.
As it transpired, his nascent interest in makeup and special effects was initially sparked by a chance discovery of Hellraiser's foam latex appliances nestled at the bottom of his father's makeup kit. This serendipitous find would eventually blossom into a lifelong passion, and subsequently, a career.
Fast-forward to the present day, Alexander's company, Prestige Makeup and Effects, proudly continues to uphold the esteemed tradition of quality special effects makeup and prosthetics, a testament to his dedication and expertise. A remarkable 16 years have elapsed since the inception of his company, and in that time, he has had the privilege of collaborating on an impressive 70 projects.
Today, Alexander calls the charming city of Charlotte, North Carolina, his home, where he continues to cultivate his craft and push the boundaries of his art.
