As a self-taught filmmaker, he has been driven by a passion for storytelling since the earliest stages of his life, with his professional journey taking a notable turn as Head Producer at PLGRM Media.
Throughout his career, Alex has been involved in a variety of film projects, including The Busker, The High School Lawyer, and The Saints of St Kilda, a documentary that offered a provocative and thought-provoking exploration of the infamous Gatwick Hotel. His early works were largely focused on narrative-driven documentary content, earning widespread acclaim from esteemed publications such as The Guardian, The Huffington Post, the ABC, and The Age.
In 2016, Alex parted ways with PLGRM to dedicate his attention to his debut feature documentary, The Art of Incarceration, which is currently nearing completion. Notably, the film has secured theatrical distribution and is slated for a theatrical release in 2020.
