Alex was born to a French mother and a Martinican father, and spent his childhood in central France. His father, a Vietnamese martial-arts instructor, introduced him to the world of martial arts at a young age. Alex quickly excelled, winning the title of champion of France in Viet Vo Dao three times between 1997 and 2000.
As a teenager, Alex began to explore other forms of movement, including dance, Parkour, and acrobatics. He soon became proficient in these disciplines, which ultimately led him to create a show that combined sports, stunts, and acting, with the proceeds benefiting children's education in Vietnam.
Alex's regional fame earned him a spot in the generic for the film "Kiss of the Dragon" alongside Jet Li. Although his role was ultimately canceled, it sparked his decision to pursue a career in professional acting. Over the next three years, he appeared in two successful musical comedies, earning recognition and an invitation to study at the International Academy of Acting, Singing, and Dancing for two years.
After completing his training, Alex transitioned from live acting to film, completing film acting and English classes before officially auditioning as an actor in 2005. His versatility and physical abilities have led to a wide range of professional experiences.
Alex has worked on several notable projects, including the international series "Galactik Football" (2006-2008),which taught him how to act in motion capture. He has also appeared in ten Indian films between 2006 and 2010, and started his acting career in France with roles in "Banlieue 13 Ultimatum" by Patrick Alessandrin and "The Prodigies" by Antoine Charreyron (2011).
Between 2012 and 2013, Alex appeared in three French films: "Rust and Bone" by Jacques Audiard, starring Marion Cotillard and Matthias Schoenaerts; "The Lookout" by Michele Placido, with Daniel Auteuil and Matthieu; and "Jeux De Couples" by Maxwell A. Cavevall. He has also had roles in two American films: "Battle of the Year: Plan B-Boy" by Benson Lee, starring Josh Holloway and Chris Brown; and "Fast and Furious 6" by Justin Lin, with Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, and Dwayne Johnson.
