Alex D'Antona, born on May 19, 1987, in Taranto, Italy, is a multi-talented individual with a passion for the arts. As a university student at DAMS in Bari, he is constantly challenging himself to hone his skills.
In 2014, Alex embarked on a new journey as a theatrical actor with the Mola-based company "Tuttinscena - Cultura & Spettacolo". He took on a wide range of roles, showcasing his versatility as an actor. His roles included the hunchback Iago in Aladdin and the Cat in Pinocchio, demonstrating his ability to adapt to diverse characters.
In 2016, Alex made his cinematic debut as the ghost of an old lady in the film "Haunted" by Funny Dreamers Production, which received international distribution. He continued to work with Funny Dreamers on "Clownery" and joined L/D Production Company as a cast and crew member for projects such as "The Last Heroes", "Caleb", and "Hidden - Verita' Sepolte".
Alex's debut as a director and screenwriter came in 2021 with "Applausi", a short film denouncing homobitransphobia in Italy. The film was a collaborative effort with Fabiano Tagarelli, and the synergy between the two directors was so strong that they formed a small collective, PAF! Production. In 2023, they realized their first feature film, "A Haunting in Council House", produced by V Channels Media in collaboration with Funny Dreamers Productions.
