One of his greatest theatrical successes was Nadie es profeta en su espejo by Jorge Díaz, under the direction of Alejandro Goic, as well as La Condición Humana. He has also starred in Macbeth, directed by Englishman Ian Wooldrich, alongside actor Rodrigo González Rubio.
As a director, Trejo has made a name for himself with productions such as La comarca del jazmín by Óscar Castro, The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury, El libro de Rebeca by Benjamin Galemiri, Loco afán by Pedro Lemebel, and El desvarío by Jorge Díaz, among others.
In films, Trejo's notable performances include A Cab for Three, The Sentimental Teaser, Subterra, Machuca, Gente decente, and Los Debutantes. He has also had a successful career as a voice actor, lending his voice to various commercials, series, and television documentaries for over 20 years.
