Alejandro Montoya Marin's life story begins in Laredo, Texas, where he took his first breath, before relocating to Mexico for his formative years. It was in 2018 that his career received a significant boost when Robert Rodriguez personally chose him to participate in his documentary series, REBEL WITHOUT A CREW. Marin's film, MONDAY, made a splash at the prestigious SXSW festival that same year.
Not content to rest on his laurels, Marin went on to create his next project, MILLENNIUM BUGS, which he crowdfunded and saw distributed by the reputable Indican Pictures. Fast-forward to 2023, and Marin co-starred in Eva Longoria's highly-anticipated film, FLAMIN' HOT, while also joining the esteemed Directors Guild of America. With a growing reputation and a wealth of experience under his belt, Marin is now hard at work on his fourth feature film, a testament to his dedication to his craft and his unwavering passion for storytelling.
