Aias Dalman is a remarkable 14-year-old individual, possessing a unique blend of artistic talent and technical proficiency. As a dual citizen of the United States and Canada, born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Aias has been fortunate enough to make a name for themselves in the entertainment industry.
As an openly Autistic actor, Aias has made it their mission to bring authentic representation to the screen, showcasing their talents in a variety of roles. Their most recent Autistic roles include a Series Regular position in Hulu's "Untitled Orphan Project," alongside Ellen Pompeo and Mark Duplass, as well as a Lead role in Hallmark's "World Record Christmas," starring alongside Nikki DeLoach and Lucas Bryant.
In addition to their Autistic roles, Aias has also had the opportunity to play neurotypical characters, taking on Supporting roles in "House of Chains" for Lifetime and in the feature film "Bau - Artist at War" for Paramount.
Aias's journey in the entertainment industry began when they were scouted by Young Moviemakers Director Levente Mihalik while in a kindergarten science class. They spent several years honing their craft in Vancouver's independent film scene, both as an actor and writer, before finally signing with a talent agent.
As a child prodigy, Aias demonstrated exceptional talent in both math and creative writing, winning awards for their screenplays at a young age. By the time they were just 7 years old, their work had already garnered recognition, including the Best Film Overall award at the Toronto International Film Festival's (TIFF) Young Filmmakers Showcase for "The Fortune Teller" and the Best Narrative award at the Calgary International Film Festival for "Teen Chick." Their most recent project, "Tough Guy," was screened at over 40 film festivals internationally, and Aias even had the opportunity to speak at the Whistler International Film Festival.
Despite their passion for acting, Aias has a special affinity for math, astronomy, and coding, and is very close to their family, particularly their little brother Azriel. In their free time, Aias enjoys playing the cello and ultimate frisbee.
