Adriana, a native of Chicago, has relocated to Los Angeles with a profound mission to introduce a fresh, Latina-American presence and voice to the entertainment industry across all mediums. Her professional journey in performance began at the tender age of 11 in Chicago, where she trained extensively and worked regularly in the city's burgeoning theater scene as a teenager.
Upon being accepted into UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television, Adriana refined her acting skills and discovered a newfound passion for directing theater and film. Her unwavering dedication to telling a distinct Latin-American story, and moving away from the common stereotypes often seen in the media, led Adriana to co-found Travieso Productions shortly after graduating from UCLA.
Under her guidance and leadership, Travieso Productions has successfully produced and distributed its inaugural film, and is currently working on several scripted and unscripted television series. In addition to her work with Travieso Productions, Adriana has focused on acting and writing, and is eagerly anticipating the opportunity to direct at The Bilingual Foundation of the Arts for the 2014-2015 season.
