Adam Blake Raque was born on April 10th, 1989, in Louisville, Kentucky. Even from a young age, his passion for performing was evident, as he enthusiastically took on the lead role in his pre-school's school play. By the time he was eight years old, he was already performing professionally at various theatres around town, showcasing his remarkable talent.
In 2004, Raque originated the role of Jimmy Jo in the World premiere of "Come Sing, Jimmy Jo," a musical based on the book of the same name by Katherine Paterson. His impressive dancing skills also earned him a spot on Louisville's Radio Disney Dance Team. Furthermore, he attended New Albany High School, a school featured in The New York Times for its extravagant theatrical productions.
Aside from his professional theatre work, Raque also gained experience in commercials, voice-overs, and film. He starred in Bold Production's film "Latchkey Kids" and appeared in several commercials. His talents did not go unnoticed, as he gained recognition throughout Louisville and Southern Indiana.
As he continued to hone his craft, Raque decided to take the next step and pursue opportunities in Los Angeles, California. He graduated early from high school, with honors, to spend the latter part of his senior year in Los Angeles for pilot season. Since his move, he has secured representation, appeared in three commercials, and most notably, landed a spot on the record-breaking hit Disney Channel show, Hannah Montana, in 2006.
