Abe was born in Mesa, Arizona, and spent his formative years in South Scottsdale and Tempe, Arizona, where he was surrounded by a strong influence of creativity. His father, a writer, and his mother, a special education and elementary school teacher, instilled in him a love for the arts from a young age.
As a freshman at McClintock High School in Tempe, Arizona, Abe discovered his passion for acting and music at the age of 14. His bandmates bestowed upon him the nickname Abe, which would stick with him throughout his career. With his focus shifting entirely to acting and music, Abe credits his high school theater teacher, Jim Fountain, for igniting his love of acting.
After high school, Abe received a Reagents scholarship to Arizona State University for Theater, where he honed his craft and acted in community theater productions. However, he soon took a hiatus from acting to pursue a career in music. His band, the Slash City Daggers, released the critically acclaimed album 'Backstabber Blues' in September 2001, produced by punk legend Jeff Dahl.
In 2004, Abe made the move to Los Angeles, where he studied acting for film and became eligible to join the Screen Actors Guild after appearing in Tony Scott's Domino alongside film legend Jaqueline Bisset.
From 2013-2014, Abe toured the U.S. three times as the drummer for the punk rock band City Mouse. In 2017, he relocated to care for his ailing father, and in 2020, he made a triumphant return to acting, starring in the Indie Sci-Fi Thriller Intersect.
Tragedy struck in 2024 when Abe's father passed away, leaving him to carry on his legacy. Abe now resides with his beloved cat, Charlie, and dedicates his time to volunteering at a local cat sanctuary, finding solace in the companionship of his feline friend.
