In 1943, the US Navy tests an anti-radar system, making a destroyer escort ship, the USS Eldridge, vanish from Philadelphia. Two sailors, David and Jim, are sent 41 years into the future, where they meet a woman named Allison. As they try to contact their base, Jim suddenly disappears in a hospital. David turns to Allison for help, but Jim refuses to see him. With no other options, David must find Dr. Longstreet to uncover the truth and find a way back to his own time.
