In Seoul, a monstrous entity rises from the Han River, unleashing chaos and terrorizing the city's inhabitants, as a family frantically searches for a way to save their dear one from the creature's deadly clutches.

Toxic chemicals released into the Han River by a US military base six years prior spawn a mutant squid monster that emerges from the water to wreak havoc on the riverbank.
