Misery

A writer's life is disrupted when a devoted fan rescues him from a car accident, unleashing a dark and unsettling chain of events.

Paul Sheldon, a best-selling novelist, is rescued by Annie Wilkes, his "number one fan", after a car crash in a blizzard. However, Annie's obsession with Paul's work turns sinister when she discovers he has killed off her favorite heroine, leaving Paul severely injured and trapped in her remote mountain home.
