Movie mogul J.P. Shelldrake finds himself in a tax bind and needs a write-off to avoid IRS trouble. He discovers a homemade space parody film, "Lobster Man From Mars", created by a young writer, producer, and director named Stevie Horowitz. The follows film the story of Mars, which is suffering from a severe air leakage, and the King of Mars sends the dreaded Lobster Man to Earth to steal its air. However, the Lobster Man's plan is foiled by a mad scientist, an army colonel, and a young woman.
