Three stories, each connected to the AIDS crisis, are narrated by Hilde the Missionary Nun. In South Africa, a group of nuns work as nurses and learn about a legend that having sex with a virgin can cure AIDS. They must take action to stop the spread of the virus on the plantation. In Montreal, a porn actor cheats on his HIV tests, using his father's blood to pass as his own. His mother discovers the truth and devises a plan to help him. In China, a blood smuggler buys blood from adults, but the recipients begin to fall ill and die.
