13 Hours

In the midst of a violent assault on a U.S. compound in Libya, a team of security personnel springs into action to restore order and retake control of the situation.

In 2012, a group of former military contractors provided security at an unofficial CIA base in Libya, following the fall of Gaddafi. The power vacuum created a volatile climate, with military weapons readily available. The US Ambassador, Chris Stevens, visited the area, staying at a compound near the CIA base. On September 11, 2012, the Ambassador's compound was attacked by heavily armed locals, with only six CIA contractors able to defend it.
