A former Confederate spy, Jeff Travis, seeks refuge in Prescott, Arizona, but his past catches up with him when he encounters Jules Mourret, who knows his secrets. Travis takes a job on the stage line, only to discover Mourret's plan to steal gold. After a friend is killed, Travis sets out to exact revenge on Mourret and his gang, but his initial plan fails, prompting him to take matters into his own hands.
