Karl and Paul, former high school friends, reconnect in present-day London, but their lives have taken drastically different turns. Karl has transitioned into a woman named Kim, who is focused on building a new life. Meanwhile, Paul is stuck in a dead-end job and has a talent for getting into trouble.
