A desperate duo launches a clandestine casino in a friend's residence to revive their daughter's college scholarship, putting everything on the line for a second chance.

Alex's college dreams are within reach when she's accepted into Bucknell University, but her parents' joy is short-lived as the town's college scholarship program reaches its funding limit. With no other options, Scott and Kate take a risk and turn their friend Frank's basement into an illegal casino, but their luck runs out when the authorities start to suspect their operation.
