Rick Silver's remarkable journey began in El Paso, Texas, where he spent his formative years attending private schools. His academic pursuits continued at The University of Texas, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing.
From a young age, Rick demonstrated an entrepreneurial spirit, being self-employed throughout high school. After graduation, he opened a retail store that rapidly expanded to five locations within a few years, and subsequently branched out by opening three restaurant/bars.
During this period, Rick also ventured into television, directing, producing, and hosting a comedic bilingual show on Telemundo. The program showcased extreme sports, music videos, events, nightlife, and interviews with celebrities and athletes. This experience sparked a newfound passion for the film industry within Rick.
Following the conclusion of the show, Rick decided to sell his business and real estate, opting to relocate to Los Angeles, California, to pursue a career in acting and filmmaking. Upon arrival, he worked tirelessly to become a registered union actor, securing roles in various films.
Throughout his career, Rick has worked on numerous feature films, independent projects, TV shows, and commercials. He has consistently sought opportunities to hone his craft, attending classes at Second City, Playhouse, Act Club, and Screen Actors System with renowned director R. Williams, as well as participating in scene study classes and workshops.
Above all, Rick has honed his skills through hands-on experience, working non-stop on film projects and scene study classes alongside other accomplished actors.
