London's top cop, PC Nicholas Angel, is transferred to the quiet town of Sandford due to his exceptional abilities making his colleagues look bad. Partnered with Danny Butterman, who idolizes action movies, Angel initially finds the town peaceful until two actors are found decapitated, sparking a series of mysterious deaths. As Angel digs deeper, he clashes with the community while trying to uncover the truth behind the seemingly accidental killings.
