Peyton Canaday, an accountant at her family's inn, and Dr. Ben Tyler, a physician, were childhood friends who drifted apart 10 years ago after Peyton confessed her romantic feelings to him, only for him to leave town. Now, with one week until Christmas, they're forced to work together when their friend's daughter needs care. Ben asks Peyton to help with holiday traditions, disrupting her plans to organize the inn's 25th anniversary Christmas Eve party, which she wants to make the best ever.
