Unbeknownst to the film crew, their latest project awakens sinister forces from decades-old movie reels, plunging the set into a vortex of destruction and insanity.
In the Dark Ages, a gypsy woman's pact with the devil led to the birth of a child with the devil's mark, who was killed by villagers. In 1928, a director and his cast vanished while making a film about the story. Years later, a discredited medium and his producer travel to Romania to recreate the story.
