Bells Are Ringing

In the romantic comedy "The Matchmaker," a charming telephone answering service operator in Brooklyn uses her unique job skills to improve the lives of her clients, while secretly harboring a crush on a prominent playwright. She becomes determined to meet him, but a twist arises when she's forced to pretend to be an elderly woman he calls "Mom" over the phone.
