In a daring act of bravery, a fearless Afghan warrior makes the ultimate sacrifice to rescue a British officer, giving his life to save his enemy in a poignant display of selfless heroism.

In the 1860s, on the mountainous border of British India and Afghanistan, a young man named Zarak Khan is forced to flee his village after kissing his father's youngest wife, Salma. He becomes a notorious outlaw, pursued by the British who send Major Ingram to capture him. Despite their initial animosity, Zarak and Ingram develop a begrudging respect for each other, and Zarak ultimately risks his life to save the British officer when he is captured by one of Zarak's rivals.
