A grumpy elderly man's perspective is altered forever when he's unexpectedly visited by enigmatic holiday apparitions.

He exploits his employee Bob Cratchit and clients, treating them with bitterness. On Christmas Eve, the ghost of his former partner Jacob Marley appears, warning Scrooge that three spirits will visit him that night.
