An undercover narcotics cop, Raynor, selects Kristen, a tough and attractive rookie, for his next mission to take down elusive drug dealer Gaines. As they work together, they become embroiled in a world of drug addiction and unexpectedly fall in love. Despite immersing themselves in a life of low-class junkies, they fail to gather evidence to convict Gaines and are forced to use false evidence in court.
