U.S. Marshal Buck Roberts investigates rustling in Red Bluff, led by a group of corrupt individuals, including a crooked sheriff, a banker, a saloon-owner, and a rancher. After a rancher is murdered, his son is wrongly accused and arrested, but with the help of two other marshals, he escapes and joins the gang to gather evidence against them.
