In Mumbai, a poor man named Laxminarayan lives with his mother, who wants him to become a successful gangster and kill someone to make money. To fulfill her wish, he accepts a contract to kill a gangster who stole a diamond. Meanwhile, another Laxminarayan is a secretary who buys a vintage car from a dealer, and a third Laxminarayan runs an underwear business. The three men arrive at a hotel in Pondi, where their lives become hilariously complicated when they are mistaken for each other and get caught up in a series of misunderstandings.
