Manoj Pahwa is a renowned Indian actor, predominantly active in the Hindi film and television industry. He made his acting debut in the TV serial Hum Log in 1985, but his career in the entertainment industry gained momentum in the 1990s.
Since then, Pahwa has appeared in numerous TV shows, including Office Office and Home Shanti, the latter released in 2022. Throughout his career spanning over two decades, he has acted in more than 70 films.
Apart from TV shows, Pahwa has had a successful career in Bollywood, starring in a variety of films, ranging from comedies to dramas. He is particularly known for his excellent comic timing and has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry.
Some of his notable films include Dil Dhadakne Do, Jolly LLB, Housefull, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Singh Is King, Mulk, and Article 15. His performance in Article 15 earned him the International Indian Film Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
Pahwa has also won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his role in Mulk. Apart from his acting career, he is also a theatre actor and has worked with renowned theatre groups, including the National School of Drama and Asmita Theatre.
In addition to his acting career, Pahwa has also directed and produced several plays, including Ramleela and local projects for Doordarshan and Mandi House.
