Julien Donkey-Boy

In a world where nothing goes smoothly, Julien's life is particularly turbulent. His father, a blues music enthusiast, wears a gas mask and constantly criticizes Julien and his siblings, while their grandmother cares for her dog. Julien, who is schizophrenic and wears gold teeth, finds solace among a group of young adults with disabilities, bonding with them through activities like bowling and singing. His complicated family life is further complicated by the fact that his sister's child may be his own, and he may be hiding a dark secret. The film explores Julien's inner world, offering a poignant glimpse into the lives of his eccentric family over the course of a few weeks.
