Mark Jackson concocts a plan to acquire Adams' land by deceiving him. He orchestrates a heist, stealing jewels from Adams' fiancée and cattle money from Hoppy, before using the stolen funds to buy back the jewels from Adams in exchange for a deed to his land. However, Lin's keen eye spots the counterfeit bills, prompting Hoppy and his companions to chase after the thieves.
