Four female prisoners find solace in music, forming a rock band behind bars. Their talent eventually leads to a performance at a police ball, prompting a daring escape and a life of freedom on the run, with fame and notoriety in tow.

A group of female prisoners form a band in jail and get the opportunity to perform at a police ball, but they decide to make a break for it. After their escape is broadcast on the news, a record label executive sees an opportunity and releases their previously rejected music, using their mugshots as promotional material. As a result, the "bandits" become an overnight sensation, achieving their dream of fame, but at the cost of being on the run from the law.
